Easter Breakfast

We decided (in order to let Daddy sleep for a couple of hours) that Sarah, Manny, Makenzie and I would go to McDonald's for breakfast...in our pajamas. The kids (obviously) loved it.

Build and Learn at Lowe's

Manny and Joe enjoy going to Lowe's to build different projects, this week they built a birdhouse. Manny has lots of fun (and so does Joe). He loves to wear his apron and eye protection and at the end he gets a patch to sew on his apron.

Easter Visitors

We had a really nice Easter with family. Manny and Makenzie had a great day and enjoyed all their Easter treats.

Three Friends Together Again

Manny, McKayla, and Roman at Roman's birthday party.

What a little gel and hairspray does to Manny:

No Love for the Easter Bunny

Manny was so excited to see the Easter Bunny this year...until we got to the front of the line. Manny simply said, "um, no thanks". Finally we convinced him to sit near the Bunny, however, there was no convincing Makenzie to enjoy the Bunny.

Watching the Men at Work

Recently we had all the trees in our side yard cut down...it was very entertaining for Makenzie and Manny:

Makenzie's First Finger Painting

Makenzie loves paint, loves her fingers but at first didn't really enjoy mixing the two...for a few minutes...then she loved it!

Makenzie was so proud of her pictures. When Joe and Manny got home from Lowe's she picked them right up and showed them her art work.

Easter Egg Craft

Manny, Joe and I decided to make Sun Catcher Easter Eggs. Manny loved it, mostly because it simply involved glue. I cut Easter Egg shapes out of wax paper and then we glued squares of vellum paper on the eggs. They were really cute.

It's confirmed...

Makenzie is a Danny Gokey fan! We were watching American Idol and I looked at Makenzie and she was singing and dancing to Danny's song! Good choice Makenzie.

Story Time for Two!

Last Saturday Manny and Makenzie were the only kids at story time, it was actually a lot of fun. Each Saturday Miss Diane talks about a different letter of the alphabet. The letter U was featured this week. We read about unicorn's, umbrella's etc. They even made UFO's for snack (half a bagel with cream cheese and strawberries and bananas).

They then had an Easter Egg Hunt outside.

Playing with Roman

A while ago Manny had his friend Roman over for an afternoon of fun playing. The boys played together all afternoon, had lunch, played some more, made some art, helped the delivery guys and Joe install the new fridge, ate dinner AND THEN went to Dairy Queen for an ice cream...can you say a full day?! A full day that was fun and the boys got along really well.
